Title: SMALL TERRESTRIAL MAMMALS’ SYNUSIA CHANGES DURING SEVERAL DAYS OF CONTINUAL TRAPPING
Author: IVAN BALÁŽ, ALENA JANČOVÁ

Abstract: There were evaluated changes in trapping of small terrestrial mammals from mousetraps of line trapping methods during 3 to 4 continuous days. For recording of seasonal influence and altitude gradient in successfulness and conclusive of trapping and for changes in trapping structure we realized continual trapping during four seasons in 6 hypsographic levels of Slovakia. Totally 19445 individuals were trapped belonging to 28 species of small terrestrial mammals. Our attention was paid to the families of Soricidae, Muridae, Arvicolidae.
