Title: Rodová príslušnosť a ponímanie rol, partnerského vzťahu a sexuality u dospievajúcich
Author: M. Gregussová, M. Kováčiková

Abstract:

Presented is the comparison of view of 13- and 14-year-old boys and girls on gender roles, partner relationships, and sexuality. The method of incomplete sentences revealed a stereotype, traditional understanding of gender roles (how an ideal woman/man should be like). A romantic concept on relationship – for example, on existence of the only true fateful love, on jealousy as proof of love, etc. – is widespread among adolescents. Girls more frequently prefer individualism in the concept about their role in a relationship; boys declare bigger willingness to adapt themselves to ideas of their female partner. Sexuality for adolescents is not already a tabooed topic in such a degree; in boys it is more interrelated with the concept of masculinity. Girls have more knowledge about birth control, which is probably related to their better informedness from part of parents. Adolescents still know only a little about the risk of sexual abuse.
