Title: Fracture behavior of Al-0.2wt%Zr alloy processed by accumulative roll bonding (ARB) process
Author: B. Azad, E. Borhani, H. M. Semnani

Abstract: An Al-0.2wt%Zr alloy was subjected to accumulative roll bonding (ARB) process up to a strain of 8.0. The aim of this study is to investigate fracture surfaces of Al-0.2wt%Zr alloy fabricated by ARB process. The three kinds of different microstructures, i.e. solution-treated one, 350 °C pre-aged and 450 °C pre-aged one, were prepared as the starting structures for the ARB process. Investigation of fracture surfaces was carried out by scanning electron microscope (SEM). Also, the microstructures after ARB process were studied by atomic force microscope (AFM).
