| Abstract: PSYCHOLOGY IN THE TIMES OF JOSEF ŠVANCARA Abstract: The departure of Josef Švancara, an important figure of Czechoslovak psychology, is an occasion to commemorate his life and work, his contribution to the universe of psychological knowledge, and also to reflect on his attitudes in today’s discussions concerning the future direction of psychology. Through his publications, teaching and organizational work he left a remarkable footprint especially in the areas of psychological methodology, psychodiagnostics and developmental psychology. His bibliography consists of 130 scholarly publications. |
