| Abstract: HUMAN FIGURE DRAWING AND POSSIBILITIES OF ITS USE IN PSYCHODIAGNOSTICS Abstract: Human figure drawing is a frequently used method in child and adult psychological and psychiatric practice. It helps to identify the state of development in various areas of cognition, emotions and coping. In younger children, it is applied mainly to determine the level of cognitive functioning and visual-motor skills development. At a later age, some personality, social and emotional variables are also manifested in the drawing. This principle is used in psychodiagnostics as a projective technique. However, the interpretation of different aspects of a drawing requires experience, as exact criteria cannot be used here. |
